{"document":"accessibility","version":"2026-09-16","effective":"2026-09-16","status":"published","title":"Accessibility Statement","url":"/legal/accessibility","text":"## Accessibility statement\n\nCadomancy (cadomancy.com) is meant to be usable by everyone, including people who use a\nscreen reader, a keyboard alone, magnification, or a high-contrast or reduced-motion\nsetting. This statement says what the page does for that today, what it does not do yet,\nand whom to tell when something is in the way.\n\n**Standard.** We work to the Israeli Standard **IS 5568** (regulation 35 of the Equal\nRights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations,\n2013), which adopts **WCAG 2.0 Level AA**, and we check against **WCAG 2.1 Level AA**,\nthe level the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882, EN 301 549) refers to.\nThe page **partially conforms**: the items below are done; the known gaps are listed\nafter them.\n\n**What is done.**\n\n- Every control has a name a screen reader can say: buttons carry their text, fields\n  carry a label, icon-only controls carry an `aria-label`.\n- Everything can be reached and operated with the keyboard alone, in reading order;\n  focus is always visible. A skip link at the top of the page goes straight to the\n  request field.\n- Text and its background meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio, in the dark and the light theme.\n- Status messages (a part being built, an answer arriving, a queue position) are\n  announced through live regions without stealing focus.\n- The interface is available in English, Russian and Hebrew; the Hebrew layout is\n  right-to-left, and the document declares its language so assistive software reads\n  it correctly.\n- Animations and transitions are switched off when the system asks for reduced motion.\n- The page works at 200 % zoom and on a phone-sized screen without horizontal scrolling.\n\n**Known gaps.**\n\n- The 3D view of the part is a picture drawn on a canvas. It has a name, and the\n  agent's written answer next to it describes the part in words with its dimensions,\n  but the model itself cannot be explored with a screen reader. Downloading the STL or\n  STEP file gives the same geometry to any tool of your choice.\n- Sliders that change a dimension are standard range inputs and can be moved with the\n  arrow keys; the number they set is shown beside them, and a text field for typing it\n  directly is on the list.\n- The legal texts, including this one, are in English; the interface itself is in the\n  language you choose.\n\n**Accessibility coordinator.** Cadomancy is operated by a single person and has fewer\nthan 25 employees, so regulation 91 does not require a designated coordinator. The\nperson responsible for accessibility, and for answering about it, is the operator.\n\n**Tell us.** If something on the page is not accessible to you, or you need a document\nor a result in another form, write to **support@cadomancy.com** with the page, what you\nwere doing and which assistive software you use.
